Tallest man in the room

 

At the first club meeting of 2017 Pueblo 43 hosted the women's and men's basketball teams from CSU-Pueblo for our annual update of all things basketball.  

 

First we heard from Joe Folda, CSU-P Athletic Director, who mentioned that they were seeing some of the best athletic successes in memory including excellent success in men's and women's soccer, both indoor track teams and both basketball teams.  In fact the women's basketball team is undefeated and ranked in the top 10 in the nation.  

 

And, following "coach" Folda we were pleased to hear from both the men's coach, Ralph Turner, and the women's coach, Jim Turgeon.  Each coach introduced all of their athletes and told us a little bit about their teams particularly focusing on the outstanding academic, GPA, performance of both teams. 

 

Our President Elect, Kevin Keilbach, wanted to make it clear that he is still the tallest man in the room, almost.  And, Sheriff Nazario made a point of showing off his best basketball moves.  Congratulations go to the Thunderwolf athletes who are representing us well both on the court and in the classroom.
